Three things: the standard and class printed on the test certificate matches IS 15298, the article number on the certificate matches the exact shoe you ordered (not a similar model), and the toe cap material (steel or composite) fits the hazard on your floor rather than just the lowest price quoted.
The Indian Standard for safety footwear. It sets the toe-cap impact rating, slip resistance and sole performance a shoe must meet, and it is what a tender should name rather than a brand. We quote against the part and class you need.
Steel is cheaper and takes a harder single impact. Composite is lighter, does not conduct heat or cold, and clears a metal detector, which matters in airports and some plants. Both certify to IS 15298; pick on the hazard, not the price.
That the shoe was made to the Indian Standard named alongside it, under BIS licence. It certifies the article, not the brand, so the test certificate has to match the exact article number you ordered. Ours ship with every order.
