Who writes the guides on this site, what we will and will not claim, and how we correct something we got wrong.
Why we publish
We sell uniforms and safety wear in bulk. The guides here exist because the questions in them are the questions buyers ask us on the phone, and answering them once in public is more useful than answering them one call at a time. They are commercial content published by a supplier, and you should read them knowing that.
Who writes them
Every guide carries a named byline, and the name is a person who works here and handles that subject. Posts are assigned by subject, not rotated, so the person answering a footwear question is the person who specifies footwear.
- Ravi. Safety & PPE specialist. Handles safety footwear, helmets and high-visibility clothing at Sri Ganesh Textiles, including brand specifications and IS-standard conformance.
- Dilip. Uniform & textile lead. Leads uniform programmes at Sri Ganesh Textiles across hospitality, healthcare, schools and corporate, from fabric selection through to fit.
- Karan. Bulk procurement lead. Handles bulk procurement at Sri Ganesh Textiles, covering government tenders, rate contracts and multi-brand sourcing comparisons.
These are working roles, not credentials. We do not describe anyone here as certified, chartered or accredited, because none of us are, and a manufactured qualification on a safety page would be the worst place to put one.
What we will not claim
Several of our guides cover brands we resell. On those we state plainly, in the body of the post, that we supply the brand in bulk against your specification and that we are not an authorised dealer and do not claim to be. If a page discusses a brand and does not carry that line, tell us and we will add it.
We name standards rather than adjectives. Where a product is certified, we say which standard and part it is certified to: IS 15298 for safety footwear, IS 2925 for industrial helmets, IS 15809 for high-visibility clothing. We supply the test certificate with the order. We do not describe an uncertified item as certified, and where we cannot certify something we say so before you place the order rather than after.
Accuracy and safety content
Safety equipment guidance on this site is written to help you specify and buy correctly. It is not a substitute for your own risk assessment, your auditor's requirements, or the standard itself. Where a decision affects worker safety, specify against the standard and ask for the certificate for the exact article you will be shipped. A general brand statement is not that.
Prices, article numbers and brand ranges change. We do not publish a price list as though it were fixed, and where a post discusses pricing it explains what drives the price rather than quoting a number that will be wrong next quarter.
Dates and revisions
Every guide shows the date it was published. A modified date appears only when a post has actually been revised in a way that changes its substance. It is not refreshed on every deployment, because a date that moves without the content moving is a claim of freshness that is not true.
Corrections
If something here is wrong, write to hello@sriganeshtextiles.in and we will correct it and mark the post as revised. Standards references and certification claims get priority, because those are the ones someone might act on.
