Class 2 is a sleeveless or short-band garment for yard and warehouse work. Class 3 adds bands on the sleeves and over the shoulders, so a driver reads the outline of a moving person rather than a single stripe. Road work and night work need Class 3. Tell us the site and we quote the right class.

The Indian Standard for high-visibility warning clothing. It sets the minimum area of fluorescent background and retro-reflective tape for each class, which is why the class matters more than the garment style. Name the class and the standard on your order.

Not in India, generally. 3M makes Scotchlite retro-reflective tape and supplies it to garment makers, so a tender that says 3M is almost always specifying the tape rather than a finished jacket. We quote against 3M Scotchlite where your specification names it, with a standard-tape option alongside.

Stitched. Heat-glued tape lifts at the edges after a few industrial washes, so every band is stitched down on both edges. It is the single biggest reason a hi-vis order comes back.

The fluorescent ground fades before the tape does. On our standard polyester it holds through roughly 25 industrial washes; heavier laundering shortens that, so plan a refresh cycle rather than a one-time buy.

Yes. Screen printing and embroidery are done in-house, placed so the print never sits on a reflective band and breaks it up.

GST on apparel is priced, not fixed to the product: since the September 2025 rate revision, that's 5% up to Rs. 2,500 per piece, 18% above that, so the rate depends on what you are billed per jacket.
