Tiger safety shoes: multi-site supply, local top-ups and what to specify

Tiger, from Mirza International, is a familiar name in Indian safety and work footwear, and the buyers it suits best are the ones whose sites are spread out.

If you run one plant, distribution reach is irrelevant to you and you should choose on fit and sole. If you run eleven sites across four states, it is close to the whole decision — because the thing that actually breaks a footwear programme is not the main order, it is the top-up.

A note on what we are: we supply Tiger safety shoes in bulk against your specification. We are not an authorised dealer and do not claim to be.

The top-up problem nobody quotes for

Every safety footwear enquiry is written around the main order. Almost none of them mention the situation that actually recurs: a site needs six pairs, next week, because new joiners arrived and cannot start work without them.

Ask before you sign:

  • What does a six-pair top-up cost, and how long does it take to that specific city?
  • Is it at the same rate as the main order, or repriced as a small order?
  • Who do we call, and do they already have our size file?

A supplier who can put small quantities on site inside a week, at the contract rate, is worth more over a year than one who is a few rupees cheaper per pair and takes a month. For multi-city operations, this is the number to negotiate hardest.

One rate card across every site

The second thing worth more than unit price: a single rate card that every location buys against, so a branch manager in a smaller city cannot be quoted differently from head office.

Get it in writing, along with a rate held for the contract year, and mid-year top-ups stop being renegotiations.

Specify the article

“Tiger safety shoes — 400 pairs” is not a specification. Write:

Tiger, article number [X], certified to IS 15298 Part 2, toe cap type, sole compound, sizes per attached file, ISI test certificates against the article supplied.

This matters doubly for multi-site buyers: without a named article, site three receives something visibly different from site one, and you get a consistency complaint that has nothing to do with quality.

Toe cap — steel is cheaper and heavier and trips metal detection; composite is lighter and passes it. Both meet 200 joules when certified.

Sole — PU or dual-density PU for general plant and warehouse; rubber or nitrile where there is heat, oil or chemicals.

Sizing across scattered sites

This is the part multi-site buyers most often get wrong. Measuring at head office and extrapolating to the other ten locations does not work — the distribution differs by site and by role.

Measure each site, or collect sizes against names before ordering, and keep one consolidated size file. A repeat order off that file is a single email regardless of how many cities it covers.

On the price list

tiger safety shoes price list is searched often. Any list online is a single-pair retail number for one article and tells you nothing about a multi-site institutional order, which prices on article, toe cap, sole, quantity, contract length and delivery pattern.

Send the article, the quantity, the site split and the cities, and you get a written price inside 24 hours.

How we supply

We supply Tiger safety shoes in bulk across India against your article and specification. ISI test certificates against what ships, sizes measured on site and held on file, one rate card across locations, the rate held for the contract year, and staggered delivery against your dates rather than one drop.

Minimum 50 pairs. Footwear ships on the same purchase order as helmets and hi-vis when you want the whole kit as one line.
